Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU)

Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) is one of the top most medical universities of Kazakhstan. The university was established in the year 1930 in Almaty. The first rector of KazNMU was S.D. Asfendiyarov, a graduate from Leningrad Navy Medical Academy.
The government of Kazakhstan classified KazNMU as the National University in the year 2001. The university is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university is named after the famous professor SD Asfendiyarov and hence also known as Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. It offers one of the lowest fees in Kazakhstan for foreign students.

Hostels for students are situated within the main campus area at a walking distance. Indians only have to travel out of campus when they have to attend practical classes in hospitals from 2nd year onwards.
Hostels have CCTV surveillance system installed for the safety of foreigners. Students can share rooms with 2/ 3/ 4 students subject to availability & choice of student on arrival.
Each Hostel room has study tables & chairs, beds, bed-sheets, wardrobe, lamps etc. Boys and girls are provided accommodation on separate floors or hostels.
Hostels have facility of common kitchen, laundry, sports hall & reading hall on each floor. Hostel & Indian Mess is compulsory for Indian students for Ist year.

Almaty City

Almaty (Earlier known as Alma-Ata) is located in the southern most part of country is the largest city of the Kazakhstan.
It was the official capital of country from 1929 to 1997.
Almaty is the commercial & cultural capital of Kazakhstan and the most populated city as well.
The city has an international airport with flights to most cities around the world.
For transport within the city regular trams, trolley-buses, etc are available.
The climate in Almaty is humid continental with warm summers (Up to +30 Degree Celsius) and mildly cold winters (Up to -10 Degrees Celsius).

Duration of Course & Medium of Instruction

Eligibility criteria for Studying MD Physician Course in Kazakhstan

A minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in aggregate for general category and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in aggregate for reserve category in 10+2 examination.
The student must have qualified NEET-UG during current year or with in previous two years.
The aspirant must be 17 years or above of age on 31st December of the year of Admission.
The student must not be suffering from any contagious diseases i.e. HIV Aids, tuberculosis, etc.

Admission Procedure for Studying MD Physician Course in Kazakhstan

Fill the application form
University or universities can also test you abilities online; Skype or any other mode.
After acceptance from university student will be given the admission letter from University.
After receiving admission letter you need to submit all pending original documents in our office.
We will apply for student visa in the Embassy of Kazakhstan
Embassy may call the student for an interview.
Once visa is stamped we will inform the aspirant student about the travelling date.
Once the student travels to Kazakhstan, University Officials will receive the student on arrival.
Student will be accommodated to the University Hostel.
After Student makes the pending payment, if any of the tuition fee or any other balance to the International Student Department and joins the studies.
