Road Transport: – Two routes in the trans-African highway network originate in Cairo. Egypt additionally has many highway links with Asia via the Arab Mashreq international road network. The town of Cairo is served via the Cairo metro, which is run by using the national authority for tunnels. In addition to the city of Alexandria, this is served by way of the Alexandria tram.
Water Transport: – In Egypt, there is 3,500 km of waterways, such as the Nile, lake Nasser, Alexandria-Cairo waterway, and lots of smaller canals in the Nile delta.
