FMGE, or Foreign Medical Graduates Examination, is another name for the MCI Screening Test. The National Board of Examination (NBE) administers a nationwide licencing test twice a year. Candidates who have completed medical school outside of India and wish to begin their careers in India must pass this crucial exam.
For them to successfully practise medicine in India, there is one more prerequisite. In India, they must additionally complete a yearlong internship at a medical school or hospital that serves as a teaching facility. The hospital where the candidate is completing their internship in India needs to be approved by the Medical Council of India, which must be taken into account. This internship is outdoorsy.
